For smaller patients, managing deadspace within the breathing circuit can be a challenge. These adapters replace the standard 15mm ET adapter commonly used and add a luer port right at the adapter while still maintaining the 15mm connection.  This allows you to connect a sidestream capnograph to your airway with virtually zero additional deadspace.  NOTE: Using these adapters will reduce the operating time of your Airmate filter due to increased moisture content in the sampled air.
